For owner builders we are clear about what the engineer’s drawings require, what inspections your certifier will want and how the slab stage fits against your other trades, so the pour lands on schedule and passes inspection without drama.
It depends on the site classification, not the suburb. Corridor estates on filled or reactive ground often call for stiffer raft or waffle designs, while stable sandy sites can take simpler systems. The engineer classifies the soil and designs accordingly, and we build exactly what is drawn.
In the northern Gold Coast corridor, slab crews and concrete supply both run busy, so two to four weeks of notice is a safe working figure once your drawings and site are ready. We coordinate directly with your builder or certifier on the exact date and hold points.
